A few tips to better prepare your visit to Fort Belvedere-Gschwent.
You can find us in Via Tiroler Kaiserjäger in Lavarone. The fort can only be reached on foot. There are 10 parking spaces at the beginning of the access road and others, for cars and coaches, along the main road. The fort is about a 10-minute walk away.
The fort can also be reached, in about 30 minutes, from the parking lot at “Cost” (the recommended parking for the Vaia Dragon) by walking the “Sentiero dei Camini”.
Appropriate clothing is recommended: even in summer, the interior of the Fort is cold and wet, and some areas may be slippery.
Animals are not allowed, even if on a leash or carried in backpacks or purses. Exceptions are guide dogs for the visually impaired. Find out why.
Please always check the opening hours on our website. Entry is allowed until half an hour before closing time.
The visit to the Fort takes one hour/one and a half hours.
No reservations are required, except for guided tours for organized groups.
The fort can be visited independently, and inside you can listen to an audio guide with your phone, thanks to QR codes along the way.
